To help you get started, HRPC and WorldWide HealthStaff Associates Ltd
(HealthStaff) have developed a 3 stage NCLEX ® Review and Study Program
tailored to your specific learning needs.
You need not resign from your current employment or pay expensive Review
Center fees to successfully prepare for the NCLEX exam. Take a moment
to review the following information and you will soon be able to picture
yourself passing the NCLEX exam.
Step 1 - Diagnostic Test to establish existing knowledge
level .
The first step in preparing for the NCLEX ® exam is to gain an understanding
of your current knowledge in each of the key areas of nursing practice
tested by the NCLEX ® exam.
HRPC/HealthStaff has developed a proprietary online NCLEX ® diagnostic
test to assist you to prepare for the NCLEX ® licensing exam. The
HRPC/HealthStaff diagnostic test simulates the content and structure of
the NCLEX ® licensure exam and requires approximately sixty (60) minutes
to complete. The test is composed of multiple choice questions similar
to questions that the nurse will write on the NCLEX ® licensing exam.
The exam is written online in HRPC's office at a time convenient to you.
Step 2 - Analysis of the Diagnostic Exam results and
development of a personalized NCLEX ® Study Plan.
After completing the HRPC/HealthStaff NCLEX ® pre-test the nurse is
provided with test results that indicate which questions the nurse answered
correctly and which questions the nurse did not answer correctly. Also,
the HRPC/HealthStaff pre-test provides each test writer with an analysis
on all subject areas included in the HealthStaff NCLEX ® diagnostic
exam.
An individualized study plan is developed for you by providing you with
detailed cross references to specific NCLEX ® study manuals. By knowing
which areas the nurse does not understand and having specific references
in standard NCLEX ® study manuals the nurse can optimize study time
by concentrating on those areas that will be included on the NCLEX ®
licensing exam that the nurse does not understand. The test results assist
the nurse in developing a NCLEX ® study program that may include both
self-study and classroom sessions.
Step 3 - Confirm Readiness to Write the NCLEX
® Licensure Exam
After the period of self-study is completed, HRPC/HealthStaff recommend
that you write the HRPC/HealthStaff post-test (after the period of study)
to determine progress that has been made in gaining greater knowledge
of subjects included in the NCLEX ® licensing exam. The HRPC/HealthStaff
post-test is also written online and requires approximately sixty (60)
minutes to complete. Test results of the post-test provide feedback as
to those questions the test writer answers correctly and incorrectly.
The post-test results are compared to the pre-test results so that the
nurse gains greater understanding of the degree to which improved knowledge
and understanding of NCLEX ® has been achieved.
The
HRPC/WWHSA NCLEX ® Review & Study Program is free to ALL HRPC
nurses. For nurses of other agencies, please call the HRPC Main Office
to arrange to take the HRPC/Healthstaff NCLEX ® diagnostic test and/or
post-test. The cost of the diagnostic exam and post-test is $50.00 (U.S.
dollars) per exam. Easy payment options are provided.
