What are the necessary requirements?
Where do I take the exams CGFNS, TOEFL & TSE?
CGFNS in Manila at various examination centers. TOEFL in Manila at different various examination centers. TSE can be taken across the country at certified testing school sites.

When do I have to have these passed by for placement purposes?
Processing time is faster if the tests are taken prior to application but can be taken and passed during processing just prior (CGFNS to 6 months to Visa issuance) and TOEFL is 4 months prior to USA.

Where do the interviews take place?
The interview takes place at HRPC office and wherever there are nurses to be interviewed. Employers do the interviews.

Who do I coordinate with?
Applicants should coordinate with HRPC.

Do you help us if we are in the provinces? (Cebu, Davao etc.)
We do help applicants from across the country and even foreign countries.

Will my hospital experience in school be counted (credited) or should it be strictly hospital experience?
Hospital experience is considered only after if it is gained after formal schooling.

What if I have been away from the industry for a while?
It is up to employers to determine what the allowable period is. But generally, you should not exceed two years.

What kind of paperwork do I need to submit immediately?
Resumé and Credentials (Transcripts of Records, PRC License, Board Rating Results, Diploma, Seminar Certificates, CGFNS Certificate [if taken and passed], TOEFL [if taken and passed] and TSE [if taken and passed]).

Are there interviews with personal appearances with the embassies?
For USA, usually. For Canada, sometimes.

What happens if I don't pass the tests the first time? Can I take it again? Who pays at that point?
Oftentimes, USA employers shoulder the cost of the test the first time, in case the applicant fails the test in the first try he/she should pay for the cost of the test fee in the succeeding tests.

Who pays for what?
No fees are collected by HRPC from applicants.

What do I have to pay for up front?
HRPC shoulders all Testing Fees …and what is covered by HRPC and the employers. No fees are collected by HRPC from applicants.

How long are the contracts for?
Contract lasts for two years.

How much money can I expect to make?
More than 20 times the current Philippine Rate.

Where do I live once I get there?
Apartments are provided for applicants.

Can I bring my family and what can they expect? Do you help with their placement?
Yes, your spouse and children are included in your visa application. Depending on the qualifications of the Spouse we do offer assistance programs through Department of Social Services for New Immigrants.

Do you help me if I am unsatisfied with the working conditions or the employer once I get there?
